Reclaim Your Narrative With Brandinc PR
What does it take to Reclaim Your Narrative? Well the work starts before the camera starts rolling…
Lawton, OK – June 15, 2022 — A group of professional business women and leaders are coming together to reintroduce the entrepreneurship and small business driven conference for the region. The Southwest Oklahoma Business Women’s Summit returns on Thursday, September 15th at Great Plains Technology Center.
From 8am-3pm, participants will have the opportunity to hear from veteran guest speakers on a range of entrepreneurial topics from start-up experiences from regional business owners to developing the focused mindset to scale and grow in career. In addition, the event will feature a BAIL Team, professionals from banking, accounting, insurance and law to assist with business resources as well as vendor booths of woman owned businesses and networking opportunities.
The event co-chair, Lynn Null, Small Business Management Coordinator at Great Plains Technology Center shared her excitement towards the return of the event post-pandemic. “It’s been more than two years since we hosted the last Summit, and at that time, prior to the pandemic within a very different environment. After receiving an influx of requests and positive feedback from the previous, we decided to bring this event back to our communities and benefit those who truly need the resources.”
Marla Herndon, Event co-chair and Coordinator of REI Women’s Business Center, added to these sentiments. “Living in a post-pandemic world as a business owner or aspiring entrepreneur has its own set of unique challenges.” By providing valuable resources and high caliber speakers like Maria Elena Duron from Google to educate other women, it creates the space for more successfully launched businesses.
Tickets are now on sale for $50 and include breakfast & lunch. Tickets can be purchased at www.reiwbc.org/swoksummit. For more information, please contact Marla Herndon at [email protected]or Brandi Sims at [email protected].
